Emergency: 72-Hour Kit comes for Rescue...!!

After a major disaster, emergency response units may take time to reach you. So one must have a planning for at least precious 72 hours on their own.

This Plan includes keeping in contact with someone outside, a household plan, keeping your home safe, and putting together a disaster supply kit. So that you can stay calm and collected and make sure you have everything you need—beyond the obvious food, water, first aid.

It never hurts to be prepared. Head over to 72Hours.org and the site will walk you through the process of putting together your 72-hour emergency kit, and spread it around to everyone you know that may be affected by the coming Disaster.

You can even print the entire guide in PDF form—it's probably a good idea to print off a copy and keep it in your kit, especially the "what to do if" section, which offers helpful advice for what to do in the event of an earthquake, flood, terrorist attack, contagious disease outbreak, fire, tsunami, and more.
